Este cuadro est\u00e1 creado con pigmentos acr\u00edlicos mezclados con sedimentos recolectados a 3000 metros<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> de profundidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La Dra Mar\u00eda Isabel Sandoval cient\u00edfica a bordo nos explica: \u00abLa lluvia pel\u00e1gica o nieve marina como suele conocerse com\u00fanmente, es un t\u00e9rmino utilizado para describir la materia org\u00e1nica que incluye micropart\u00edculas y organismos flotantes en la columna de agua, los cuales a lo largo del tiempo se acumulan en el fondo oce\u00e1nico y estos pueden ser preservados en el sedimento como microf\u00f3siles de radiolarios, foramin\u00edferos, diatomeas y cocolitof\u00f3ridos\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Esta obra surge de las conversaciones con la Dra.
