Guanacaste posee una zona virtualmente desconocida para el gran p\u00fablico, donde en una extensi\u00f3n de varios kil\u00f3metros existe la mayor concentraci\u00f3n de petroglifos del pa\u00eds. Estos petroglifos que pueden llegar a datar incluso desde antes de Cristo, comprenden variados ideogramas de los cuales a\u00fan no se tiene una comprensi\u00f3n clara y que contin\u00faan siendo estudiados por los arque\u00f3logos. El presente proyecto busca recrear art\u00edsticamente los petroglifos pertenecientes a la zona Guanacasteca.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Organizado por los artistas Carlos Hiller y Rebeca Alvarado Soto, un grupo de 25 artistas destacados han estudiado e investigado estos artefactos y se han inspirado para transformarlos en artes visuales. Al recrear interpretaciones originales y desarrollar nuevas interpretaciones, los artistas esperan documentar perpetuamente estas reliquias, que est\u00e1n en peligro de extinci\u00f3n y que las comunidades y los turistas costarricenses no ven f\u00e1cilmente.<\/span>\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Los artistas participantes incluyen: Fernando Carballo, Otto Apuy, Florencia Urbina, Emanuel Rodr\u00edguez, Leda Astorga, Ana Elena Fern\u00e1ndez, Aurelio Vidor, Carlos Hiller, Roberto Lizano, Fabio Herrera, Mario Maffioli, Claudio Vidor, Jos\u00e9 Jackson Guadamuz, Rebeca Alvarado Soto, Jonathan Torres, Shi Chang, Adela Mar\u00edn, Priscila Aguirre, \u00c1ngel Lara, Karen Clachar, Sussy Vargas, Juan Carlos Ruiz, Norma Varela, Gabriela Garc\u00eda y Ricardo Alfieri<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:279}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Se realizaron tres exposiciones en el a\u00f1o 2012 en diferentes momentos y lugares en la provincia de Guanacaste. La primera exhibici\u00f3n fue durante el mes de agosto y septiembre en la Casona de Santa Rosa, en el Parque Nacional Santa Rosa. La segunda exhibici\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 a finales del mes de septiembre y octubre en la Galer\u00eda de Arte Hidden Garden. Y la tercera durante el mes de noviembre y diciembre en el Museo de Guanacaste en Liberia.\u00a0<\/span><span
